Scottish wildlife can be as rugged as the environment - from hairy highland cows to mighty stags with antlers to show their power, to the brown hare hunkering down in the grass trying to shelter from the rain.

In my area of the Scottish Highlands I am very lucky to be surrounded by the threatened red squirrel.  Full of character and fun, I love photographing their charming personailities.
